Boilers and Heating

We pride ourselves in doing a great job when it comes to heating. We also provide a wide range of boilers for every need. Sometimes it's hard to pick the right boiler/radiator when you don’t understand the information given, we try to give the customer advice on what they need to do the job correctly i.e:

 Boiler size (kw)
 Boiler location
 Radiator size
 Radiator location

Most old gas and oil boilers are regular boilers that have a separate hot water cylinder to store hot water, rather than providing it directly from the boiler. When you replace your boiler you can buy a new regular boiler, and keep your hot water cylinder, or buy a combi boiler that doesn’t need a cylinder.

Large families using lots of hot water are likely to be better off with a regular boiler whereas smaller households using less may be better off with a combi boiler. We will always advise all of our clients on the best and most efficient methods of heating for them and their families.

Residential Rented Properties - Landlord Gas Safety Record

The only documentation required by law is a Landlord Gas Safety Record as there is a legal duty on owners of residential rented properties to have annual safety checks carried out on the gas appliances they provide for their tenants’ use. These safety checks must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered engineer and the results are recorded in detail on a Landlord, Gas Safety Record form with copies provided to the landlord and tenant.
